Gorgeous half-moon console/side table in solid teak — colonial style

DESCRIPTION
Elegant Demilune table with two bowfront drawers and authentic metal ring pulls. The slim, square legs give the piece a light, elegant appearance. Warm golden-brown teak color with a rich, characterful grain.

ORIGIN & STYLE
Indo/Colonial — dating from the period of the Dutch East Indies, present-day Indonesia. Teak played a central role in furniture production during the colonial era, prized for its striking grain and radiant character. Particularly Central Java, with cities like Jepara and Semarang, is worldwide renowned for its furniture makers and exceptional craftsmanship.

MATERIAL
Solid teak — exceptionally sturdy and heavy. Teak is naturally a oily wood, making it resistant to moisture and dirt and requiring virtually no maintenance.
