Elegant Art Deco lamp in pressed, molded glass, signed Degué, a famous French glassmaker active in the 1920s–1930s.

The tulip, egg-shaped with a slightly conical form, features a relief decoration typical of the Art Deco vocabulary, consisting of stylized floral and geometric motifs (radiant flowers, scrolls and simplified botanical elements). The glass, with a satin finish, diffuses a soft and uniform light particularly sought after.

The signature “Degué”, visible in the decoration, attests to the piece’s authenticity and links it to the production of David Guéron, a major figure in French glassmaking of the interwar period.

The base in forged metal, with hammered decoration and clean lines, fits a coherent Art Deco aesthetic, offering an elegant contrast with the softness of the frosted glass.
