Rare vintage brass ship lamp holder – Maritime – probably 1930s.

Beautiful vintage brass lamp base, likely from a ship interior (cabine or salon) from the mid-20th century. The lamp has a heavy cast-iron base, stamped with “BAG” and “028” on the underside – possibly referring to the maker and model number.

The elegant base is finished in brass with engraved details and a pearl rim, typical of maritime or Art Deco styled objects. The fixture is still present, only the lampshade is missing.
This sturdy and decorative brass lamp base comes from a nautical environment or is inspired by maritime interiors. The lamp features a classic design with gracefully engraved motifs on the foot and a heavy, stable construction that is characteristic of use on ships or yachts. The brass finish has a beautiful patina, contributing to its authentic character.

The fitting and bracket are still present, but the lampshade is missing. Ideal for restoration or repurposing in a nautically inspired interior. Very decorative as an accent piece or table lamp base in a classic style.
