Montblanc Meisterstück 146 fountain pen, manufactured in Germany, in black precious resin with gold‑plated trim and a solid 14k EF nib, piston filler, 14.2 cm long and 1.3 cm in diameter, serial DD1148419, in good used condition with minor wear and comes with its original box.
Description from the seller
A0000004362
The pen is presented in very good overall condition, maintaining intact the classic elegance and the characteristic presence of the Montblanc Meisterstück 146.
The body and cap in black precious resin preserve a deep and uniform shine. There are slight surface signs of use, visible only under close inspection and against the light, typical of a piece carefully used and consistent with its age. No cracks, fractures or dents are observed.
The gold-plated elements, including the clip and the decorative rings, are in good condition, with present shine and slight cosmetic wear compatible with the passage of time, with no loss of material or deformations. The inscription “MEISTERSTÜCK” on the central ring remains legible and well defined.
The Montblanc emblem on the top of the cap is complete, well preserved and firmly integrated.
The 14 kt solid gold nib, EF point, is aligned, clean and in very good condition, with no deformations or visible damage. The ebonite feed is intact. The stroke is fine, precise and regular, in line with the indicated point.
The piston-filling system works correctly, with smooth travel and good airtightness.
Overall, it is a well-preserved, functional piece and aesthetically very attractive, ideal for high-level daily use as well as for a collection, especially interesting for its EF point and its balanced condition.
The pen comes with the original brand box for proper conservation.
Nice auction!
