Description from the seller

Beautiful and old carved wooden cuckoo clock in Black Forest style. It comes from a private collection of a deceased person. Little by little we are putting them up for sale. They are cleaned and tested for a few days, and a working video is made: https://youtube.com/shorts/2mf6pckOK7Y?si=vIyQGpBYnySt-HAE
Internally and externally it shows a good appearance, some signs of use that are detailed in the photos which are part of the description. The movement bears an inscription from the manufacturer Emil Schmekenbecher, which, as far as we know, was a prestigious German clockwork maker. Beyond the time we have had it here, we don’t know more; we are not watchmakers, so we don’t know if it needs adjustment or maintenance; in the time we’ve had it it worked correctly. We also do not have the knowledge to provide support in getting it started; this is the buyer’s responsibility. Because we are private individuals, WE DO NOT SHIP OUTSIDE THE EU, mainly due to customs procedures that for us pose an insurmountable problem. It is sent with careful packaging and a tracking number.
