Montegrappa Fortuna Silver Mule fountain pen in steel (inoxidable) with a Fine (F) steel nib, 13.7 cm long and 1.3 cm diameter, produced in Italy in 2000–2010, in good used condition with tiny micro-scratches, fully functional and without the original outer box.
Description from the seller
The piece is presented in very good overall condition, preserving intact its contemporary personality and the characteristic industrial appeal of the Silver Mule finish.
The body and the cap retain their original brushed metal finish, with the uniform satin finish typical of the model. There are light micro-scratches of use, visible only under direct light or close inspection, absolutely consistent with careful use and not intrusive to the overall aesthetics of the piece. No structural dings, dents, or deformations are observed.
The metal clip maintains its proper alignment and firmness, functioning correctly. The engraved “Montegrappa” ring preserves clear and elegant definition.
The steel nib, engraved and marked F (Fine), is in very good visual and structural condition, with no damage or alterations to the tip. The feathers (gavilanes) maintain correct alignment and the feeding system shows no visible anomalies. The writing is smooth and consistent.
The cap-closing mechanism functions correctly, ensuring a firm fit.
Presentation:
Not accompanied by the original outer box due to aesthetic deterioration. Only the interior base/support that holds the pen and the original papers is included.
Overall, this is a well-preserved fountain pen, fully functional and ready for immediate use or collection, with light signs of responsible use and no defects that affect its performance or aesthetic presence.
