A single 1962 Italian violin labelled Capicchioni, wood construction with a one‑piece flamed maple back, total length 58.7 cm, back length 35.8 cm, weight 0.5 kg, in excellent condition, with a new bridge, new strings and ebony setup, tested and playable.

Up for auction is a nice old full size italian violin for professional musician or collector. The label says: Marinus Capicchioni Fecit Arimini A D 1962. The sound is very powerful, deep, mellow and rich. This is a superb sounding instrument, also very beautiful in appearance. The strongly flamed one piece maple back measures 35,8 cm. The total length of the violin is 58,7 cm. The width of the upper bouts: 16,5 cm; middle bouts: 11,2 cm; lower bouts: 20,5 cm. High grained spruce top, golden brown varnish. New bridge, new strings and new ebony set up. This violin is in amazing condition with no cracks. Beautiful model with a very elegant natural amber patina, very high quality of woods, perfect details all over. Shipping worldwide insured
