Up for auction is a nice old full size italian violin for professional musician or collector. The label says: Marinus Capicchioni Fecit Arimini A D 1962. The sound is very powerful, deep, mellow and rich. This is a superb sounding instrument, also very beautiful in appearance. The strongly flamed one piece maple back measures 35,8 cm. The total length of the violin is 58,7 cm. The width of the upper bouts: 16,5 cm; middle bouts: 11,2 cm; lower bouts: 20,5 cm. High grained spruce top, golden brown varnish.
