AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Bavarian porcelain decorative tray — Lindner Kueps Bavaria
Genuine cobalt · Acid-engraved gold · Hand-painted flowers

Square Rococo-shaped tray (22 cm), made by Lindner Kueps Bavaria, one of the Bavarian workshops of the highest quality, probably dating from the 1950s to the 1970s.

Three high-end decorative techniques, perfectly combined:

— ECHT COBALT: the intense blue that covers the rim is cobalt oxide applied under glaze. It is not a superficial pigment — it is a permanent, unalterable color, the same process used by the great manufactories since Meissen.
— ÄTZGOLD HANDARBEIT: the entire blue field is covered with arabesques, scrolls, and floral motifs in acid-engraved gold. This technique — expensive and labor-intensive — creates a matte/shiny, unmistakable texture that no industrial print can imitate.
— FLORES PINTADAS A MANO: bouquets of roses, peonies, and wildflowers in the Deutsche Blumen style, the German floral tradition that directly draws from Meissen.

The four white cartouches with small bouquets on the sides break the blue with classical elegance.

Stamp on the base: Lindner Kueps Bavaria · 034/22 · Echt Cobalt · Ätzgold-Handarbeit · 422/12.

Condition: very good. No cracks or restorations. The gold retains its luster.

Ideal for Bavarian porcelain collectors, display cabinets or as a quality gift with history.
