Original 1930s hanging lamp with an opaline glass bubble diffuser and a white ribbed onion-shaped upper section, chrome rosette and chain, about 34–35 cm in diameter, made in Italy (Venice region), in good used condition with only light signs of age and in working order, weighing 10 kg and styled in Art Deco.
Description from the seller
Original pendant lamp from the 1930s, characterized by a spherical opaline glass diffuser with an extremely decorative 'bubble' or 'crackle' finish.
The glass globe presents a unique texture of bubbles and veining which, when lit, creates a sparkling and diffuse light effect, typical of glassmaking creations of the era. The upper part in white glass with vertical ribs (in the form of an urn or 'onion') adds elegance and movement, completing the Art Deco style perfectly.
Technical details:
• Spherical opaline glass diffuser with bubble effect (bubble glass)
• Upper white glass element with ribbed decoration
• Rosette and chain in chromed metal
• Globe diameter: about 34/35 cm
• Iconic 1930s design, inspired by Streamline Moderne and Murano-style glass.
This lamp is a piece with strong visual impact: the glass texture makes the light warm and vibrant, ideal for creating a warm and luxurious atmosphere.
Perfect for:
• Art Deco or vintage interiors
• Elegant living rooms
• Dining rooms
• Modern environments with strong retro character
• Hotels, restaurants or bars with 1920s-30s style
Condition: good, with slight signs of time that attest to its authenticity. Ready to use.
A rare example of vintage lighting that blends glassmaking craftsmanship and déco design.
