Chess table - Oak - Rustic chess table

Magnificent rustic chess table with a pronounced character. This distinctive piece is made of solid wood, probably oak, with a dark stained finish that enhances its artisanal character.
The set is in very good overall condition. The wood has a beautiful patina. There are a few light signs of wear and traces of use on the table frame and base, which is normal for its age, but no major damage is visible. The marquetry chessboard is well preserved. The 32 Staunton-style chess pieces are complete, in excellent condition and have a matte finish (light natural wood and black).
Estimated between 1950 and 1970 (mid-20th century).
Solid wood (likely oak) for the structure, the turned central pedestal and the base. The playing surface features a light and dark wood marquetry (likely maple/w Walnut).
