Incense burner - Copper - Incense burner

Beautiful Antique Copper Incense Burner/Incense Sling.

This lovely utilitarian object with many decorations was filled with incense and swung back and forth to spread the smoke and the scent.
Three chains are attached to the bowl, by which the incense vessel can be carried around during the service or hung.

Is in nice condition for its age with some small signs of aging/usage.
Probably a small cross is missing on the bottom.
