Description from the seller
Renée Middelkoop, born on 26-04-1957 in Kampen. (NL)
Residence: Oosterhout. (NL)
Since I was eight years old I have been involved in photography. I come from an artist family, I can draw and paint but my heart lies with photography, editing photos into art and creating a artwork from an empty file.
Exhibited in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, South Korea and India.
The work hangs in the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, the Soviet Union and India.
Curator: KUBRA (NL)2010 - 2021, Aviskar 2012 - 2015
Title: Distorted Signal
Technique: Digital Art
Edition: Limited edition of only 25 copies
Paper: Museum-quality baryta (barite), (produced by Coloron, Haarlem)
Format: 50 x 40 cm (Landscape)
Features: Signed and numbered by the artist.
Extras: Includes official Certificate of Authenticity (COA)
About the execution:
This work is printed on authentic baryta paper, the gold standard in the art world. Through the addition of barium sulfate the print has a beautiful satin gloss and an unprecedented depth in the black tones. This enhances the contrast of the 'distorted antenna' and gives the work a timeless, analog look. The pigment inks used guarantee colorfastness of more than 100 years.
Presentation advice:
Because of the subtle gloss of baryta paper we recommend framing this work with museum glass for the most optimal, glare-free result.
Leadt time ca. 7 working days after the end of the auction, but depending on destination.
