Description from the seller

Very Rare Omas 360 prototype ballpoint pen, marked “PROTOTIPO”, representing an early pre-production stage of the model that would later evolve into the 360 Mezzo line.

This example features a capped configuration, differing from standard production versions and reflecting a transitional design approach—combining the refinement of a capped writing instrument with the practicality of a ballpoint system.

The “PROTOTIPO” engraving is factory-integrated and aligned with the original “OMAS ITALY” marking, with consistent depth and wear, supporting its authenticity as a genuine pre-production piece.

Prototype examples such as this were typically produced in very limited numbers and used internally for design validation, ergonomic refinement, colour test and potential market evaluation.

Subtle differences in finishing and detailing can be observed when compared to later production models, consistent with early-stage development and iterative refinement.

The Omas 360 is one of the brand’s most iconic designs, known for its distinctive triangular ergonomic form, here executed in blue resin with silver-toned trim and Greek key motif band.

Condition is excellent, with minimal signs of handling. Fully functional.

The pen comes with two original Omas refills, an increasingly uncommon feature that enhances both usability and completeness, as well as its original Omas leather pouch, further reinforcing the authenticity and preservation of the set.
