A magnificent and iconic hand-painted porcelain cachepot from the world-renowned Herend Manufactory (Hungary). This piece features the legendary "Rothschild Bird" (RO) pattern, first created in 1860 for the Baroness Rothschild.
Design & Details:
The cachepot (Model #7213) is an exquisite example of Herend’s craftsmanship. It features the signature "Osier" (basket-weave) embossed texture on the body, accented by hand-painted songbirds on a branch and scattered insects.
Handles: Ornate, gilded "scroll" style handles.
Base: Four delicate scroll feet with 24k gold highlights.
Finishing: Scalloped rim entirely hand-gilded in 24k gold.
Condition Report:
Condition: Excellent vintage condition.
Damage: No chips, no cracks, and no restorations.
Gilding: The 24k gold accents remain bright and show no signs of wear.
