In asta un'elegante cassa per orologio a pendolo (longcase) di area italiana o centro-europea, risalente alla fine del 1800. Il mobile è realizzato in noce, con una splendida venatura a fiamma sulla parte inferiore e sulla base.

Questa cassa è perfetta per un progetto di restauro o per essere convertita in una vetrina a colonna (Curio Cabinet) di alto pregio, grazie alla linea pulita e alla grande sezione vetrata.

Analisi e Dettagli Costruttivi:
Cappello: Cimasa a tempio con raffinata cornice a dentelli tipica dell'ebanisteria di fine Ottocento.

Corpo: Anta unica a tutta altezza con cerniere in ottone originali. Il vetro è antico e presenta le tipiche ondulazioni e bolle d'aria dell'epoca.

Base: Plinto massiccio decorato con una cornice intagliata a "foglie d'acanto" stilizzate che separa visivamente la base dal corpo superiore.

Schienale: In legno massiccio, presenta i fori originali per il montaggio della staffa del meccanismo (precedentemente rimosso).

Rapporto sulle Condizioni (Condition Report):
Il mobile è strutturalmente sano e non presenta segni attivi di tarlo. Tuttavia, essendo un oggetto d'epoca, mostra i segni del tempo:

Cimasa: Un difetto evidente nell'angolo superiore sinistro (mancanza di una porzione di cornice, come documentato in foto).

Finitura: La lucidatura originale è leggermente sbiadita in alcuni punti; una rinfrescata a gommalacca o cera ne esalterebbe il colore caldo del noce.

Meccanismo: ASSENTE. Si vende solo la cassa lignea come pezzo d'arredo o base da restauro.

Base: Presenta piccoli graffi e segni di usura coerenti con l'età nella parte inferiore (battipiede).

Specifiche tecniche
Materiale: Legno di noce e abete (per lo schienale).

Periodo: 1880-1900 circa.

Condizioni: Da restaurare / Buone con segni d'uso.
