Charming lidded decorative jar in white opaline or milk glass, fitted with a brass-toned mount and decorated with hand-painted floral and stylised leaf motifs in blue, green, black, red, and gilt tones.

The domed lid is finished with a bold floral decoration, while the body is decorated with repeating scalloped panels and delicate ornamental details. The piece can be used as a vanity jar, trinket box, dresser pot, or small decorative container.

A very attractive decorative object with an elegant late 19th- to early 20th-century character, likely in Art Nouveau taste.
