With deep, large cushions. The Dutch call them 'kussens' (pillows), but they were originally intended to resemble cut gemstones with beveled facets.
In English they are also called diamonds.
In excellent condition.
Under a wide drawer.
Inside, two shelves.
Original lock - see detail photos - and original hand-forged key.
Beautiful color in the wood.
A beautiful and captivating contrast between the light, warm tones of the oak and rosewood and the black ebony.

Met diepe grote kussens, wij noemen het kussens maar oorspronkelijk waren ze bedoeld als geslepen edelstenen met schuine facetten.
In het Engels heten ze dan ook diamonds.
In uitstekende staat gebleven.
Onder een brede lade.
Binnen twee legplanken.
Origineel slot - zie detailfoto's - en originele handgesmede sleutel.
Prachtige kleur in het hout.
Mooi en boeiend contrast tussen de lichte warme kleuren van het eiken en palissander en het zwarte ebbenhout.
