Description from the seller

Prestigious Saint-Louis Crystal Bottle - Apollo Model

History and Design
On the market is a masterpiece of glassmaking signed by Saint-Louis, the oldest royal crystal in France (since 1586). This decanter belongs to the famous Apollo collection, created in 1979.

The Apollo model is renowned for its perfect balance between classicism and modernity: characterized by the iconic "Venetian ribs" (slender vertical facets) that run along the bottle's sleek body, culminating in a pointed, fully faceted diamond-cut stopper, which acts as a prism capturing every ray of light.

Technical Features
Manufacture: Saint-Louis (France)
Model: Apollo
Material: Mouth-blown and hand-cut crystal.
Period: Late 20th century.
Signature: Circular acid-etched mark under the base "Saint-Louis France".
Dimensions: Total height with stopper about 36 cm.
Weight: Dense, high-density crystal with remarkable resonance.

The piece is in excellent condition, like new. The crystal is perfectly transparent, free of opacity, cracks, or chipping. The stopper is original and fits perfectly into the neck of the carafe. Any tiny signs of handling under the base are proof of its authenticity and age.

Value and Collecting
The Apollo model is a secure investment: elegant as a centerpiece for serving fine wines or liqueurs, but also a decorative showcase piece of art for display.
