Oil painting on Dr.Schoenfeld painting cardboard, known for high-quality artist works..The back label was used from 1920 onward. The work comes from the Austrian painter and graphic artist Erwin Lang (1886-1962). Lang studied from 1903 to 1907 at the Vienna University of Applied Arts. He participated in World War I and was in Siberia as a prisoner of war until 1920. Privately, he was married to the well-known dancer Grete Wiesenthal. He became known for his lithographs and woodcut works. The harrowing experiences during his captivity he processed in numerous works that address the suffering and exhaustion and the solidarity of people in extreme situations. The size with frame is 47 x 67 cm. Without frame 40 x 60 cm. The painting comes from a collector in Baden-Württemberg. The frame is included as a gift..
