Bicolour red-orange-yellow blown glass vase, very likely Herbatte glassworks in Namur, 1920s-1930s.
Magnificent blown glass vase with a colour gradient, from deep red at the top to orange then golden yellow at the base. The rim is widely flared with a characteristic undulating and scalloped edge, enhanced with clear glass motifs. Elegant bulbous shape typical of Namur productions from the 1920s-1930s. Heavy and decorative piece, very likely from the Verrerie d’Herbatte in Namur, although unsigned.
Very good condition. Some design bubbles normal for blown glass. No cracks or chips. Weight 1400 g. Dimensions: height approx. 23 cm, maximum diameter approx. 18 cm.
