MODEL HISTORY
The Stanwell company was founded in 1942 in Copenhagen by Poul Nielsen.
During World War II Denmark could not import English pipes, and Nielsen began producing high-quality Danish pipes.
In the 1950s-70s Stanwell became the leading global brand of the Danish school, collaborating with renowned designers such as:

Jess Chonowitsch
Tom Eltang
In 1982, to celebrate the company’s 40th anniversary (1942-1982), Stanwell produced the Jubilee series, with various classic numbered shapes.
Your shape 11 is a compact Danish billiard, very balanced and typical of Scandinavian design of the 1970s-1980s.
