Description from the seller
A pair of boxes from the early 1900s, the Art Deco period.
The first box is made of Macassar ebony, dating from the 1920s in France. It measures 15 x 15 x 15 cm and weighs 630 g. The conditions are good, the patina is original and only the corners are slightly discolored, perhaps due to age (see photos).
The second box measures 13.5 x 15 x 10.5 cm. It is made of beech wood, also from the early part of the century in France. Well preserved, it shows a few signs of time here and there.
This pair of boxes is a testament to an extraordinary era and is of great decorative value.
The photos should be considered an integral part of the description; shipping will be fast and insured for the full value. We do not ship outside Europe. At the end of the auction please check the message center where you will receive photos of the packaging and instructions for receipt.
