On offer is a good quality translucent pale celadon light green nephrite jade brush washer, carved in the shape of an open curled lotus leaf. Next to it a small open “seed pot” which is used to keep the brush wet after cleaning. This small scholar brush washer has a light green color and shiny appearance. Has been identified as nephrite jade by measuring thermal conductivity and hardness and translucency. Also checked with UV light; which indicates a natural color. Provenance: This jade comes from inland China. A fine example, suitable as an addition to your high-end collection or to present as a gift! Please see test results and pictures.
