On offer is an exceptionally carved thick rectangular Chinese pale white nephrite jade pendant. This pendant has detailed carvings on all sides, which makes him more exclusive. At the front side a depiction of Chinese Guanyin sitting on a lotus throne with a life-elixir flask beside her. On the back a calligraphic poem, marked by the artist. An exceptional piece of high quality, very hard to find!
Has been identified as nephrite jade by measuring thermal conductivity and hardness and translucency. Also checked with UV light; which indicates a natural color.
