Vintage round basket in rattan and interwoven wicker, probably dating from the 1950s or 1960s. It features a high curved handle and a solid structure; these containers were often used as storage or work baskets. It is internally lined with a colorful gobelin decorative fabric, finished with a blue lace trim. The design combines practicality with a rustic style typical of postwar Italian craftsmanship. It measures 57 cm at its maximum height and has a diameter of 43 cm. The gobelin fabric features geometric patterns in vivid colors; the condition is excellent. There are no breaks or missing parts; only in one spot the rattan has a small dent due to time, but with use it will regain its original shape.
