Description from the seller

Elegant mantel clock made of polished black marble, enhanced with an engraved decoration highlighted with gilding, in a classic style inspired by French productions of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The circular dial on a black background, surrounded by a brass gilt bezel, features finely drawn Roman numerals as well as a delicate central decoration. The whole offers a clear reading and a refined aesthetic.

The architectural structure, with balanced lines, is adorned with engraved and gilded geometric motifs, with elegant lateral volutes typical of mantel clocks. The polished black marble adds depth and contrast, highlighting the gilded elements.

The quality of craftsmanship, the substantial weight and the meticulous finish give this piece a handsome decorative presence.

Movement not tested. The clock is clean and visibly well maintained.
