Old Victorian desk made of leather and English sterling silver, 925.

It is decorated with extensively worked silver.

It bears the silversmith's initials W.C (William Comyns), the mark of the lion of English sterling silver (925), the letter C (dated 1898), and the leopard’s head (London).

It features a central Renaissance courtship scene: a man plays the lute for two ladies, surrounded by relief-carved flowers and foliage.

The lid is hinged and the interior is lined with green silk and compartmentalized.

Está decorado con plata profusamente trabajada.
Lleva las iniciales del platero W.C (William Comyns), la marca del león de la plata esterlina inglesa (925), la letra C (que data de 1898) y la cabeza de leopardo (Londres).

Presenta una escena central de cortejo renacentista: un hombre toca el laúd para dos damas, rodeado de flores y follaje en relieve.

La tapa es abatible y el interior está tapizado en seda color verde y compartimentado.
