Box - Burrwood - Art Deco box

Elegant Art Deco box/coffer in veneered wood with burr veneer, datable to the first half of the 20th century (the 1920s–1930s).
Slightly bulging line with a shaped base and a lid decorated with a geometric motif. Burl veneer.
Original interior lined with blue quilted fabric.

39 cm L x 19 cm D x 14 cm H

Conditions:
Good overall condition with signs of age. Presence of old, widespread termite holes; the piece has been recently treated. Possible slight dust leakage from the holes.
Decorative and functional object, ideal as a jewelry box or a container for a collection.
