Two vintage wooden bookends with hand-carved elephants, a popular decorative item from the mid-century period.
Features and Origin
Such bookends are often made from solid woods such as teak, rosewood, or ebony. They typically date from the 1960s or 1970s and are often attributed to artisanal craftsmanship from regions such as India or West Africa (for example, Ghana)
Dimensions: 17.5 cm high, 17.5 cm wide, and 8.5 cm deep.
Condition: in good condition, only the teeth are missing.
