Description from the seller
Body in Red
2024
Oil on canvas
120 × 100 cm
This painting depicts a body without defining it.
It does not stand still, nor does it move consciously – it simply is.
Red here is not loud, but warm. Like an inner space where one arrives.
The layers of color lie on top of each other like skin, like closeness.
Sometimes dense, sometimes permeable.
This is not about posture or expression, but about a feeling of well-being within one’s own space.
The body may be anything here:
The painting leaves room.
For warmth.
For breathing.
For the simple feeling of being there.
With certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
The painting will be shipped rolled in a tube (without a frame).
If you wish, it is possible to receive the picture with a frame. Please let me know if you’re interested.
Year of origin: 2024
Packaging: sturdy cardboard
Courier: DPD / DHL
About me:
"My painting moves at the boundary between figuration and abstraction – a tense dialogue of expressive gesture, intense color worlds, and intuitive dynamism.
Inspired by the energy of abstract expressionism, which moves between body and dissolution, chaos and harmony."
Each work is a process of questioning and re-discovery:
Lines break through surfaces.
Figures emerge and disappear again.
An emotionally charged dance between control and release."
