A bronze Phialé with a central pillar omphalos, hemispherical bowl, dating from circa 1400 BC, in very good condition with a raised central pillar ending in a knob, 14.4 cm in diameter and 5.2 cm high, labelled as original and authentic.

Bronze phiale with a central umbilicus on a raised pillar
A cup with an elegant hemispherical form featuring at its center an umbilicus in the shape of a raised pillar ending in a knob.
Ancient Greece, probably Cyprus, circa 1400 BCE.
Dimensions: Diameter 14.4 cm – height 5.2 cm
Very good condition, nice patina.
Provenance: Belgium, D.V.C. Study
Previously: former private Ghent collection
The seller can prove that the lot was obtained legally; provenance declaration seen by Catawiki.
