Porcelain (faience) bird, Jema Holland, model 417, circa 1930-1950.
A pretty animal sculpture depicting a bird with wings spread, made of multicoloured iridescent lustre faience (shades of pink, purple, blue, green and gold). Model signed “Jema” with the number 417 on the base. A decorative piece typical of Jema productions from the 1930s-1950s.
Good overall condition except for two small chips: one on the tail about 1 cm and a less noticeable one inside the beak. No cracks or restorations. Weight 600 g. Dimensions: height about 20 cm, width about 16 cm, depth about 20 cm.
