Total weight: 3.4 kg
The bronze bust:
Bronze bust dimensions: height 17 cm
Shoulder width 16 cm
Depth from buttonhole to back 10 cm
Bronze with nuanced patinas, from the artist’s workshop in the late 19th to early 20th century. (See the number 2240 stamped on the brass surrounding the bottom of the marble base at three different places (see photos).
* 1st number 2240 stamped on the brass surrounding the underside of the marble base.
* 2nd number 2240 written in blue on the marble below the base.
* 3rd stamp, the number 2240, twice, inside the bronze bust.

The marble base “Sea Green”:
Base dimensions of the marble base: L x W x H 10 cm x 10 cm x 10 cm

Very beautiful Sea Green marble base, pyramid-shaped, inlaid with a bronze plaque (6 cm x 4.5 cm) depicting a cannon charge during a battle, with Napoleon on his horse looking at the battle. Also the sun illuminating the battle at the top left.
This plaque bears ROUSSEAU’s signature.
The lower part is finely bordered with brass.

My personal collection thereafter.
