Khmer stijl aardewerk voedselpotten uit Cambodja. Dit zijn archeologische vondsten uit een rivierbedding. Ze dateren uit de 1e helft van de 19e eeuw.

De Khmer bevolkingsgroep is een Austroaziatische etnische groep uit Cambodja en tevens een van de oudste etnische groepen in de regio. Er wordt merendeels het Therevada Boeddhisme beoefend.
Volgens een oude legende is de Varnan Dynastie, het oude Cambodja, ontstaan doordat een Indiase Brahmaan trouwde met de hemelse nympf 'Mera'. Dit huwelijk heeft aan de basis gestaan van de Khmer en Cambodja.

De oude voedselpotten zijn goede staat. Vanwege gebruik en uiteraard de oudheid hebben ze karakteristieke uiterlijke kenmerken. Voorbeelden hiervan zijn een scherfje dat hier een daar mist of een klein barstje.

De afmetingen zijn:

hoogte 7 x diameter 15 cm

De potten worden zorgvuldig verpakt en verzonden.
