Detailed Description
Exquisite polychrome porcelain figurine from the prestigious German manufactory Sitzendorf. The piece presents a classic "Cena Galante" of the Rococo period, depicting a noble couple seated on a love seat.
The Female Figure: Wears an 18th-century style gown with a detailed bodice, adorned with delicately hand-painted floral motifs and a vibrant green mantle. The fluid drapery of the skirt and the classical hairstyle stand out.
The Male Figure: Depicts a gentleman in an aristocratic pose, wearing a deep Bordeaux-colored frock coat, finely decorated white waistcoat, and blue breeches (culottes).
Base and Finish: The set rests on an oval Rococo-style base, richly decorated with scrollwork and reliefs
