Paris-Tokio, Mon raid by Pelletier-Doisy is a first edition French illustrated travel book of 127 pages, in a soft cover, published by Lapina in 1924, oblong 25.5 × 22 cm, in very good condition with the ex. no. 791 on Lafuma paper and 48 original wood engravings by J. Boullaire.

The illustrated narrative of Captain Pelletier-Doisy's Paris–Tokyo raid, celebrated in 1924 for succeeding in linking Paris to Tokyo, i.e. 19,600 kilometers in 20 stages.

This is the fascinating testimony of a long aerial raid from Paris to Tokyo, via Greece, Romania, Turkey, Arabia, Iraq, India, Pakistan, Burma, Thailand, Indochina, China, to land in Japan.
Pelletier-Doisy (1892-1953) was a WWI ace who participated in several major air raids of the 1920s and 1930s.
While the covers of this edition, when found, are in poor condition, this copy is in perfect condition, slightly browned but protected from the outset by a crystal wrapper.
No foxing, paper very white, the text is very fresh. No tears, inscriptions, very, very good condition
