Description from the seller
The two candelabras present themselves as a perfectly balanced pair, born in that moment of the mid-20th century when Art Deco had already left behind its harsher geometry to embrace a warmer refinement. Copper provides an antique, almost solar, glow that frames the piece from above and below: at the base, with a firm ring and slightly flared, and at the mouth, where the metal opens into a wavy edge that recalls a metallic flower. Between both ends, the glass body rises with a dense transparency, worked with oval reliefs and small glass beads that capture light as if they held it for a moment before returning it.
The contrast between the clear crystal and the amber tone of the copper creates an elegant dialogue, very typical of the Deco taste for the combination of noble materials and luminous effects. They are not ostentatious pieces, but rather objects that seduce by the harmony of their proportions and by that air of classical modernity that only good mid-century design can convey. Together, they seem designed to accompany an intimate table, a sideboard with clean lines, or a corner where candlelight can play with the textures of glass and metal, revealing their decorative character without the need for exaggeration.
