Up for auction is a nice full size violin for professional musician or collector. The label says: Farotto Celestino allievo della zio Celeste fece in Milano l'anno 1912 Farotto Celestino. This is a superb sounding instrument, also very beautiful in appearance. The softly flamed two pieces maple back measures 357 mm. The total length of the violin is 590 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 164 mm; middle bouts: 113 mm; lower bouts: 206 mm. Straight high grained spruce top, golden brown reddish varnish. The purfling is professionally executed, the edges are masterfully done. This violin is in excellent condition with no cracks. The sound is very sweet, mellow, rich and powerful. Shipping worldwide.
