Description from the seller

A very fine 4/4 violin, labeled Vincent Panormo rue d l'arbre-sec, Paris 1787. The instrument is in ready to play condition with tears, wears, no visible cracks, new ebony fingerboard, good ebony set up, master made bridge and new strings. The violin has an excellent high grained spruce of the top and one piece back of softly narrow flamed maple with matched sides, neck and scroll. Rich golden amber varnish with some tears shows an amazing wooden choice. The whole length of the violin is 586 mm and the back 355 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 166 mm; middle bouts: 110 mm; lower bouts: 207 mm. Full size. The sound is very sweet, rich, deep, powerful, suitable for soloist. Shipping with DHL worldwide

Violins and bows described as 'certified' or 'attributed' include images of their certificates and are therefore considered to have a higher degree of documented certainty regarding maker, origin, and age than instruments described only as 'labelled' (violins) or 'stamped' (bows), for which we provide no guarantee of any kind
