Parker Duofold Centenn fountain pen in black resin with gold-plated clip and rings, 18k solid gold nib, 13.6 cm long and 1.3 cm in diameter, made in the United States dating from 2000–2010, in good used condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
A0000004413
The pen is presented in very good overall condition, standing out for excellent aesthetic and functional preservation. The body and cap in black resin maintain a high original gloss, with deep and uniform reflections that enhance its classic elegance. No cracks, fissures or deformations are observed, only very slight micro-signs of use typical of the passage of time and careful use, practically imperceptible to the naked eye.
The gold-plated elements — the arrow-shaped clip and rings — are in very good condition, with clean and homogeneous gilding, without significant plating loss or evident wear. The piece as a whole maintains a very attractive aesthetic presence.
The original Parker nib in solid 18-karat gold is in excellent condition, perfectly aligned, with no deformations and a well-preserved tip. The feed appears clean and in proper condition, guaranteeing adequate ink flow.
The cartridge/converter filling system works correctly, having been inspected and serviced, ready for immediate use.
Overall, this is a piece in very good condition, with an ideal balance between use and care, fully functional and with an aesthetic that reflects the quality of the Duofold range.
Conservation recommendations
To preserve its condition, it is recommended to use high-quality inks specific for fountain pens, avoid pigmented inks, clean regularly with lukewarm water if not used for a while, dry completely before storing, keep in a dry place without direct exposure to light or extreme temperatures, and always operate the filling system gently.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
Happy bidding!
