Val Saint Lambert - Vase - 'Atlantis' - Crystal - Topaz

Art Deco vase ‘Atlantide’ by the Belgian glass and crystal factory Val Saint Lambert.

The ‘Atlantide’ model was created in 1926 and is here rendered in topaz-colored crystal. Topaz is one of the three VSL colors (alongside Blue Pompéi and Améthyste) that were used exclusively during the Art Deco period.

The vase is in good used condition with age-appropriate signs of wear. No chips or lime scale, but a few flea bites. High-quality crystal with a high lead content. VSL crystal is recognizable by the clarity of the glass and the weight of the pieces.

Unsigned, as with all VSL products from this era, but clearly recognizable by shape, quality, weight and color.

This vase is about 21 cm high and has a diameter of 14 cm.
