Commode - Birch - Italian 1936

Large dresser with three wide drawers (52 x 100 x 144 cm) in the Gaetano Borsani style. An Italian original from the 1930s in exceptional curly birch veneer, and in excellent condition; the bedroom piece here offered is complete with all its elements.
Rare opportunity as it marks the transition between Liberty style and Italian Rationalism. The piece was made in the second half of the 1930s.
The bedroom furniture comes to us complete and in excellent condition. The materials are precious, such as birch burl veneer and bronze for handles and locks.
In particular, the lively natural grain of the burl is enhanced by the very high craftsmanship of the workmanship.
The sober and linear style, which contrasts with the hyper-decorative dominant trend of the 1920s, keeps this piece current and original after almost a century of history.
The furniture, despite its beauty and historical value, does not give up practicality, thanks to the four generous drawers of the chest, the convenient single-door wardrobe, and the rational nightstands.
