Incense burner - Brass, Bronze

Elegant brass thurible (incense burner), made with a suspended three-chain structure and an upper hook. The body features a bulbous shape with a turned foot and a removable lid, designed to hold charcoal and incense.

The object is enriched with decorative figural handles (probably zoomorphic or stylized motifs), an element that gives it an ornamental character as well as a functional one. The surface shows an iridescent patina due to heat, indicating real use over time.

Inside there is the cup for the charcoal, typical of liturgical or ritual thuribles.
