Description from the seller
A fantastic heavy art-glass bowl that was designed by Lars Sestervik for the Swedish glassworks Lindshammar.
It features a spherical form that is made with a vibrant multi-color swirl technique, blending cobalt blue, magenta, yellow, and turquoise over clear glass in a fluid motion.
Produced in the late 20th century, specifically the 1980s to 1990s, the bowl is a beautiful example of Mid-century Modern-influenced Swedish art glass. The clarity of the crystal magnifies the color transitions, and the heavy weight gives a high-quality feel typical of Sestervik's work for Lindshammar.
Measurements:
Height: 14.5 cm
Diameter: 17 cm
Net Weight: 1794 g
Condition:
The bowl is in good condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The glass is clear and vibrant.
There is a minor manufacturing irregularity on the glass in the shape of a small linear inclusion from the blowing process. Overall, a magnificent multi-colored piece that looks amazing in any setting.
Please take a good look at the photos, which are an integral part of the description.
This lot will be carefully packed so it will get to its new owner exactly as it should.
