Plant table - Mahogany - Piëdestal side table

Tall side table or plant stand with a square top and square feet tapering slightly outward toward the bottom. The top measures 26 x 26 cm. The top features an elegant “parrot-beak profile.” The square legs are 2 x 2 cm and are 68 cm tall. The legs are joined at the bottom by graceful round rods.

The piece is made of mahogany, likely in the Netherlands, dating from the 1920s–1930s, and is in nice used condition with a beautiful warm reddish-brown color. The furniture shows signs of use appropriate to its age, it is neat, clean, and ready for use. With its dimensions of H x W x D = 71 x 26 x 26 cm, this is a nice slender tall plant stand that you don’t come across often.
