Elegant vintage vanity table in Louis XVI style, dating from the 1950s.

This piece features a wooden frame with lovely Neoclassical lines, resting on sculpted tapered legs. The backrest is adorned with original caning in good condition, adding lightness and authenticity to the whole.

The bevelled mirror is original and retains its label on the back mentioning a “copper-silvering” with a warranty until July 1953, which helps place its period of manufacture.

The vanity has a functional central drawer with a brass knob. The top has been covered with a red fabric (not original).

Good overall condition with signs of use consistent with age.
