4/4 master violin labeled Camillus Camilli fecit Mantova 1735, in good condition with no cracks, spruce top and a one-piece flamed maple back, golden amber varnish, weight 0.5 kg, tested and playable.

You are bidding on a very fine 4/4 master violin, labeled Camillus de Camilli fecit in Mantova 1735.
The instrument remains in good condition and has no cracks. The top is made of straight, high-grained spruce, while the one-piece back is of softly flamed maple, with matching ribs and scroll. The purfling is professionally executed, and the edges are masterfully finished.
The original golden amber varnish remains in excellent condition.
Measurements:
Total length: 592 mm
Back length: 360 mm
Upper bouts: 166 mm
Middle bouts: 111 mm
Lower bouts: 204 mm
The sound is very sweet, rich, warm, and powerful.
