Description from the seller
Elegant trophy made of ruby-red overlaid glass with fine gold engraving – probably Moser - Bohemia around 1900!!
An exceptionally decorative and artistically crafted glass trophy from the great tradition of Bohemian art glass in Karlsbad, created around the turn of the 20th century.
The body consists of deep ruby-red overlay glass, which immediately catches the eye with its warm, glowing color effect. The wall is faceted and gives the object an elegant, architectural structure. Especially appealing is the interplay of light and color, which, depending on the viewing angle, creates fascinating reflections.
The surface is richly decorated with finely executed gold etching in the Arabesque style, which continues in both the upper area and the lower segment. These ornamental decorative elements are typical of the high-quality glass production in Bohemia and testify to great craftsmanship.
The trophy rests on a striking, multifaceted base that further underscores the piece's ceremonial impact and gives it an almost sculptural presence.
Regarding condition: The glass object is in excellent condition (see photos)!
NO ETCHING STAMP on the underside!!
The noble glass may have had a label (lost)!
