Dial and Hands
The matte black dial is in excellent condition, featuring a classic three-register layout with recessed sub-dials for running seconds, minute, and hour chronograph counters. The crisp white sans-serif typography is fully intact, including the iconic Omega logo and "Speedmaster Automatic" script. The hour markers are painted with luminous material that has developed a subtle, even patina, matching the luminous inserts on the stark white baton hands. The central chronograph seconds hand and the sub-dial hands are well-preserved, contrasting perfectly against the dark background for optimal legibility. The dial shows no significant spots, moisture marks, or damage, presenting a very clean and authentic vintage appearance.

Case and Crystal
The 39mm stainless steel case retains its classic Speedmaster profile, featuring the signature twisted lyre lugs with distinct brushing on the sides and polished upper facets. The case shows honest, age-consistent wear, including light scratches and handling marks, but remains structurally sound with well-defined edges. The fixed black tachymeter bezel is in very good condition, with minor signs of use, retaining its crisp white numerals. The pump pushers and the signed Omega crown are correctly proportioned and function as intended. The caseback features the iconic deeply engraved Hippocampus medallion, along with the serial number clearly visible on the outer edge. The watch is fitted with an acrylic crystal that is clear, showing only minor surface wear consistent with careful use.

Movement
Powering this Speedmaster is the Omega Caliber 1143, an automatic chronograph movement based on the reliable ETA 2890-A2 base with a Dubois-Dépraz chronograph module. The movement is beautifully finished with Geneva waves on the rotor and perlage on the base plates. Close inspection reveals crisp engravings, including the Omega logo, caliber number "1143," and the base caliber "2890A2." The 45-jewel movement is running well. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece. The timegrapher results indicate a performance of +7 to +9 seconds per day with strong amplitude.

Strap
The watch is presented on its original Omega stainless steel bracelet, reference 1469 with 811 solid end links. The bracelet features brushed outer links with polished center links, maintaining a cohesive look with the case. The fold-over clasp is deeply stamped with the Omega logo and "Speedmaster." The bracelet shows light stretch and surface scratches consistent with its age, but remains robust and highly wearable, accommodating a wrist size of approximately 18cm.

Condition
This Omega Speedmaster is in excellent vintage condition. The dial is exceptionally clean, and the case retains its characteristic lines despite showing normal signs of wear. The bezel insert is well-preserved, and the original bracelet adds significant collector appeal. The movement is remarkably clean and running with impressive precision.
