Golden Rose of the Rev. Father Silvester of Prierio Pedemontani of the Sacred Order of Preachers on the Observance. Namely, the most clear exposition on the Gospels for the whole year, on the temporal and on the saints, both according to the order of the preachers and according to the Curia. Containing flowers and roses of the expositions of the holy doctors of antiquity. Venice: at Iac. Sansouinum Venetum, 1569. Pp. (8), 800; cm. 22 x 16. In parchment with a manuscript title on the back. Frontispiece in facsimile, minor blemishes on the first 25 leaves with partial loss of text in the lower corner and fading. Initials and woodcut ornaments; old manuscript notes at the colophon. The author is the preacher Silvestro Mazzolini (c. 1456–1523).
